Welcome to Nordic Padel Open
We are happy to welcome you to the Nordic Padel Open, a unique padel tournament for people with Parkinson's. This tournament will take place on April 25 at the Kif Padel Club, where together we will create a day full of sport and community.

KIF Padel Club – Denmark's largest padel association and Southern Denmark's natural center for everyone who plays padel.
Tournament Rules
The tournament saturday is played as a qualification tournament where top 8 will be competing in the category A tournament sunday, and the remaining 8 pairs will be competing in the category B tournament sunday.

4 pairs in 4 groups.

Place 1 and 2 from each group qualifies for category A. Place 3 and 4 qualifies for category B.

Finals are play as 4 pairs in 2 groups in each category.

All players will play 3 matches each day.-

All matches are played starting at 3-3. If both pairs agree, it can be played from 2-2

If equal 1-1 in sets a third set is played as a Match Tiebreak to 10

Friday 25
14:00 Hotel check in (not before 14:00)
14:00 - 15:00 Welcome. Coffe and cake in the lounge (KIF Padel Club).
15:00 - 16:00 Lecture in the lounge (KIF Padel Club)..
16:15 - 17:30 Try padel. Training and game. Padel intro with an experienced player.
17:30 - 19:00 Normal training for the participants in tomorrows tournament.
19:00 Food in the lounge
20:00 Be social. Danish "hygge"
Saturday 26
08:00 - 09:00 Breakfast
09:00 - 10:00 Warmup with Mette
10:00 - 12:30 Tournament starts. Qualification day.
12:15 - 13:45 Lunch in the lounge. 1,5 hour break/rest
13:45 - 16:00 Tournament continues. Qualification day.
16:00 - 18:00 Free play
19:00 - Dinner in the lounge
Sunday 27
08:00 - 09:00 Breakfast
09:00 - 10:00 Warmup with Mette
10:00 - 12:30 Tournament starts. Category A and category B finals
12:15 - 13:45 Lunch in the lounge. 1,5 hour break/rest
13:45 - 15:15 Tournament continues. Category A and category B finals
15:30 - Winner ceremoni and goodbye
Tournament fee
Tournament fee is €100 pr. participant. The tournament fee includes tournament, food, training and hotel "Kolding Sportel".
This tournament is limited to participants with Parkinson's disease. All participants can be asked to document that they have Parkinson's disease.
